When I bid on the slaughterhouse in sheriff’s sale I was ecstatic when I was informed the transaction went through. Having a background in engineering and architecture pays off when you have a devious mind such as mine. Hurricane troubles

Thanks to everyone who reached out to me during the hurricane troubles of the past week.
I lost power, heat and hot water on Monday night. Fortunately, two of my friends who live uptown graciously took me in, so I was able to “camp out” with them for the week.
