Chris led slave 502 out of the building and they stopped under an awning that shaded the entrance. Chris lifted the lid on a cooler sitting nearby, grabbed a bottle of water, opened it, and drank about half of it. He capped the bottle, set it on the cooler, and then undid the penis gag that had kept 502 silent during the tour. Chris pulled out the gag, wiped the drool off on 502’s trunks, and placed it on the cooler. He unclipped the wrist restraints and handed the bottle of water to 502.
“Drink up. I’ll leave the gag out, but don’t assail me with questions. Just listen.”
After taking the empty bottle from 502 and throwing it in a recycling bin, Chris led the slave to a golf cart parked in the paved area just beyond the awning. He directed 502 to get in the passenger seat. Chris then bent down and used clips to attach the wrist and ankle restraints to eyebolts fixed in the seat and floor. He grabbed the gag and tossed it into the back of the golf cart and then jumped into the driver’s seat.
As they drove on a paved road that led away from the complex of buildings, Chris narrated a tour of the sites ahead.
“You’ll find that the patrons enjoy re-enacting scenes that they’ve seen in film or read in books. Sometimes they change the outcome. Sometimes they just enjoy watching slaves—theirs or ours—act as scenery while they relax or enjoy a meal. No one is using the facilities at present, but you can use your imagination as I describe the different sites.”
And, indeed, Chris referenced specific films as they drove past locations, each with some sort of seating nearby the “set.” There was an area for flogging/whipping scenes: it had a single post with a ring for securing the prisoner, the two tall posts with ropes that tightened via a mechanical apparatus from “Starship Troopers,” and the shorter, wider square post with steel wrist irons used in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” They passed a steel gibbet, hanging from a post, and moved on to large area with the “wheel of pain.”
“This type of mechanism was used for turning a millstone to grind grain or for powering some device in the 1960s peplum movies. Then it showed up in the film ‘Conan.’ You can see the large totes that hold chains, shackles, and collars for anchoring slaves to the pole. Charley designed it so we can vary the resistance: at the lowest setting, a single slave can turn the wheel with effort and encouragement. We raise the setting when we have multiple slaves on the wheel.”
As he recalled the scene from Gengoroh Tagame’s “Desert Dungeon” video, 502 could imagine slaves chained to the pole and a taskmaster adding whip marks to their backs as they moved the central wheel.
The cart took them down a hill to a good-sized lake. At the end of a short dock was a boat with multiple oars down each side. Looking closely, 502 saw a drum at the rear of the boat; he assumed this was beating out the time for the rowers.
“You’ll get a chance to be a galley slave of sorts. Some of the patrons are pushing for a larger ship with the oars and rowers below decks, but that probably won’t happen. There also have been discussions about the possibility of keelhauling with a larger ship. That would be a real challenge to do safely—although we won’t have barnacles on the side of the ship for the victim to cut himself on.”
The cart slowed as Chris turned away from the lake and took it up a hill and through a wooded area. The turn caused 502 to shift his weight and a pull on his restraints. It was, he admitted, a pleasant feeling.
A hundred yards or so later, Chris and 502 entered a large clearing and Chris stopped the cart.
“This is where we do our wild west scenes.”
As he scanned the area, 502 realized he was looking at recreation of main street from a western. It was small, with only three buildings: a saloon with a long porch lined with chairs opposite a jail and stable next to the jail. His eyes widened when he noted the gallows constructed at the far end of the street.
“We have the occasional lynching here. The patrons enjoy storming the jail and dragging out the chained prisoner, ” Chris said with a chuckle. “Not to worry. Charley has a body harness that keeps the ‘criminal’ safe. Although in some cases, when we cut them down, we don’t know if the stain in front is from ejaculation or urination. Apparently dropping through that trap door is pretty intense. But then, we have repeat customers. One wants to recreate the hanging scene from ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.’ Sounds tricky to me, but I’m betting Charley will find a way to do it. I think the horse will be the challenge.”
Chris started the cart and wheeled in a circle. “We’ll head back now. There are a few other items further out: a sweatbox similar to the one in ‘Cool Hand Luke’ and a sandy area where we bury prisoners up to their necks. Not much to see. Let’s get back and start your training.”
