The Resort – Chapter 01

The five new hires were sitting in the HR training room.  Matt came in and introduced himself saying, “Welcome.  I am Matt and I will be giving you your orientation.”  They all stood up as he entered the room.  The five new hires were young men, 21 to 23 years of age.  Two were tall; the other three were average height.  All were exceptionally good looking.  As with all new hires, you could see the mix of excitement and nervousness.  Considering where they would be working, he expected they were also very horny.

Matt was approaching his 30th birthday.  He wasn’t exactly tall, but a bit more than average height with a handsome face and well-toned muscles.  Most people would guess his age as approaching 25 rather than 30.  He had started the same as them and worked his way up.  Now he was a senior supervisor in charge of new hires.

“Please have a seat.  Make yourselves comfortable.  We have quite a few things to go over today.”  The first order of business was to give an overview of The Resort.  During the hiring process they would already know something about The Resort, but the policy was to review it one more time during the orientation.

He told them about how The Resort began as a get-away for a group of gay men into BDSM.  They bought a private island where they could live the lifestyle undisturbed.  They would invite friends to join them, and it became a popular get-away.  Eventually they turned it into a resort where they now host upwards of 1000 guests.  There are over 4000 people on staff, including full-time, part-time, and some who permanently reside on the island.  The Resort started as a simple house, but now had a large hotel with some of the finest rooms you can find anywhere, many hi-tech features, and the finest amenities.

In the early days the island was run by Masters and the work was done by their slaves under Old Guard protocols.  As the popularity increased, it was no longer feasible to staff The Resort with only those who identify as slaves in the BDSM lifestyle.  It was necessary to be more flexible in the staffing options.  For the outside world, everyone has job titles such as housekeeping, culinary, etc.  But in keeping with the theme of The Resort, staff are considered Masters, alphas, or slaves.  The Masters include the owners of The Resort and most of the upper management.  The alphas are mostly people in middle management positions, and the rest of the staff are considered slaves.

To the guests, there are three categories of slaves as indicated by the colored marking on their collar.  Those with a red marking are slaves that are off-limits to guests.  Those with a yellow marking are those who are designated to interact with guests, but only within the scope of their specific function.  Those with black or grey markings are available for anything that a guest may want, within certain limits.  The difference between the black and grey markings is whether they are full-time resident slaves (black) or non-resident slaves (grey) who work here but have their own lives outside The Resort when not working.

After giving that overview, he asked, “Are there any questions so far?”  They looked at each other, then Jeff raised his hand.  “Yes?”  Jeff asked, “Um, if, If I am going to be considered a slave here… I mean, does that mean I, um, I don’t have any rights here?”

Matt responded, “You are not exactly a slave in the traditional sense of the word.  You do have a job to do and a role to play here.  We have a certain code of behavior and uniform codes.  So, to some extent you will look, act and be treated as a slave.  But you do have rights and freedoms.  There are some who have adopted the lifestyle and become slaves to The Resort.  For now, you will do your work, then you will go home and live your normal life until you come back for your next shift.  Some of you, at some point, will move on to a job elsewhere.  Others will stay on and perhaps get promotions.  Maybe someday you will have a position where you become an Alpha or even a Master.  And then some of our hires find that they like the slave lifestyle and will become resident or non-resident slaves for The Resort and guests.”

After a pause, Matt asked, “Any more questions before I go on?”  Miguel asked, “So, are you a Master or a slave?”  Matt responded, “I am an alpha.  An alpha is considered a slave, but one who oversees other slaves.  My outside title is ‘Senior Supervisor of New Hires.’  My internal title is ‘Alpha of New Slaves.’  I am subject to pretty much the same code of behavior and uniform as you, but I do get a few perks.”

After another pause, Matt continued moving on to the code of behavior.  He told them they would have documents in their online account with more information about the code of behavior.  “There are two sections.  The first is for slaves who have limited interaction with guests, those with red or yellow markings on their collar.  The second is for slaves who regularly interact with guests, those with black or grey markings on their collar.  The first section applies to them.  They should read it and become familiar with it.  It is good to be familiar with the second section too, but it is not required at this point.”  He then proceeded to go over some of the main points.

In their initial role they generally should not interact with a guest.  But if a guest sees them and initiates interaction, they should know how to behave and respond.  They probably will interact with a Master who is on staff.  When interacting with anyone, the main thing is to be polite and courteous.  For guests, they should assume that the guest is a Master unless they know that the guest is a slave or other type of submissive traveling with his Master.  When addressing a Master, whether a guest or staff, they should say ‘Sir’ or ‘Master’ at least at the beginning or end of their response.  To be even more formal they can include it at both the beginning and end.

After this overview, Matt said, “Let’s give it a try.  Peter, if a Master asked you your name, how would you respond?”  Peter replied, “Um, I guess I would say, um, ‘My name is Peter, Sir.’  Matt nodded and said, “That would be an acceptable response.  I know I didn’t tell you this yet, but can anyone give a better response?”  Dan raised his hand.  Matt looked at Dan and said, “Go ahead Dan.”  Dan replied, “Master, my name is Dan?”  Matt nodded again, and said, “That is also a good response, but it is still missing something.  Anyone else?”  Jeff replied, “you said we are considered slaves here.  So, should it be ‘slave Jeff’?”  Matt smiled and said, “That’s it.  So, what would your response be?”  Jeff said. “Sir, I am slave Jeff, Sir!”

“Those were all good responses.  You should refer to yourselves and each other with the title ‘slave’, especially if there may be guests nearby.  I am an alpha, so the proper way to address me is ‘alpha Matt’.  When you are in a familiar group, it usually isn’t necessary to be so formal and use titles.”

He then went on to explain that not all guests were Masters.  When there are couples or groups, often they are not all Masters.  Sometimes we also get unattached slaves as guests.  Sometimes the dominant prefers a title other than Master, such as “Daddy,” “Handler,” or some other title.  The submissive members of the couple or group may be ‘slave’, ‘boy’ (spelled either with a ‘y’ or an ‘I’ at the end), ‘pup’, or any of numerous other titles or perhaps with no title.  If you know the proper title, then you should use it.  If you do not know the title, but you know for sure that the guest is not a dominant, then it is best not to use a title.  If the guest is or may be a dominant, then it is best to use ‘Sir.’

He told them that can be a difficult topic to understand, and the use of titles can be confusing, especially with guests, but that they generally should not be interacting with guests.  Guests are informed that they should not talk to slaves with a red marking.  Sometimes they forget or don’t notice and may try to interact with them.  If the guest asks them a question that they can answer, then they should give them an answer.  If they ask them to do something simple, like ‘Keep an eye on my stuff while I use the bathroom,’ then they may do that.  If a guest asks them something they cannot answer or wants them to come with them or do something that they are not comfortable doing, then they should respond, ‘Sir, I am sorry, but I am not able to assist you.  Let me get someone who can, Sir.’  Also, their uniform includes a signaling device where they can let the control center know that assistance may be needed, and they will dispatch someone promptly to assist.  He told them they will learn more about that later and that should be enough to get them started on following the code of behavior.  He reminded them to make sure to read the first section in the code of behavior document.

“Any questions before we move on to the next topic?”  Matt looked at each one of them.  He sensed they had questions but were still processing all that they had gone over so far.  He gave them a few moments then went on, “OK.  One more topic before we break for lunch.  The next topic is uniforms.”

He went on to explain how the uniform code primarily applies to slaves and alphas.  Masters wear a bracelet or neck pendant that identifies them as being one of the Masters of The Resort.  The bracelet or pendant is distinct from the ones guests might have.  It also serves as an access key to restricted areas of The Resort.  Most slaves and alphas have a basic uniform code.  Those slaves that interact with guests, the ones with black or grey markings, may have their uniform adapted for the needs and desires of the guest who will be using them.  He said they will learn more about that later when they get into a discussion of slave vending machines.

He explained that slaves with the red and yellow markings wore a basic uniform.  The outer uniform is color coded by department.  He pointed out that he was wearing a green jumpsuit.  Green is the color for the Human Resources division, which is known internally as Slave Management.  Housekeeping staff, known as the domestic slaves, wear orange.  Guest services, which include front desk staff, bellboys, room service, and hotel guides, wear yellow.  Building maintenance wear red and so on.  Jumpsuits are worn primarily by those who work in the background.  They are for slaves who generally should not be noticed by guests.  That includes areas such as Slave Management and Maintenance Slaves.  Front desk staff have a somewhat formal looking uniform with a white button-down shirt, yellow tie, and yellow pants.  Most domestic slaves wear a jumpsuit.  Domestic slaves who handle calls to a guest’s room while the guest is there, such as to deliver extra towels or freshen a room, wear a tank top and shorts in orange.  Bellboys, room service slaves, and indoor wait slaves wear the same outfit in their respective color.  Pool attendants and outdoor wait staff generally wear just a cap or headband.  He said that all of them will be wearing green jumpsuits like his as their outer uniform.

Matt went on to explain that the rest of the uniform is the same for all staff regardless of outer uniform.  Every slave and alpha wears a collar, regardless of the type of slave (red, yellow, grey, or black) or the department they are in.  He pointed out that his collar had a yellow ‘A’ to indicate that he is an alpha who may interact directly with guests.  Their collars will have a red ‘S’ to indicate that they are slaves who do not interact with guests.  The collars have a few safety features.  There is a small circle on each side of the collar.  There are several functions that can be performed by using that dot.  He reminded them that he told them before that they could signal the control center that assistance might be needed.  That is done by tapping the dot twice.  There is a dot on both sides so they can use either hand to send the signal.  Generally, it is most convenient and less conspicuous to cross their arm in front and tap the dot on the opposite side of the collar.  There are also speakers and a microphone so they can receive messages or speak to the control center through the collar.  That function can be activated by double tapping the button twice.

At that point Matt said, “I will demonstrate now.”  Matt took his right hand around to the left side of the collar.  He tapped the dot twice, paused, and then tapped it twice again.  They could hear something coming from his collar but could not make out what was said.  Then Matt said, “This is Alpha Matt 96 from Slave Control.  Please inform slave Mark 23 that it is time to bring lunch into the new slave training room.”  There was a reply, then Matt said, “Thank you.”  He then tapped the dot twice.  Looking at them, he continued, “Tapping the dot twice at the end ended the call.  You may have noticed that I referred to myself as Matt 96 and asked for Mark 23.  There may be multiple people here with the names Matt and Mark, so everyone is issued a two-digit identifier to use with their name.  In normal conversation it is fine to use just your name, but to reach someone you need to know the name and the identifier.”

With that, the door opened and a man, which they presumed to be Mark 23, came into the room pushing a cart with trays of food and bottled beverages in a container filled with ice.  He placed the trays, beverages, plates, napkins, and utensils on a table along the side of the room.  When he was finished, he turned, stood at attention facing Matt and said, “Alpha Matt, the food is ready.  Do you need anything else?”  Matt replied, “Good job, slave Mark.  If you do not have other pressing duties, I would like you to join us for lunch.”  “Alpha Matt, I do not have other pressing duties.  Thank you for inviting me to join you for lunch, Alpha Matt.”  Mark then stepped to the side of the table and stood in a slightly more relaxed position with his arms behind his back and his legs spread at a comfortable distance.

Matt then addressed the rest of the group, “Normally the conversation would not be as formal when guests are not around, but that was a demonstration of proper behavior in front of guests.  After performing his duty in setting out the food, he stood at attention when addressing me.  He referred to me as ‘Alpha Matt’ each time he spoke.  When the conversation was over, he went to stand out of the way in what is called the ‘ready position’.  You may line up and get some food.”  As they got up to get their food, Matt turned to Mark and said, “OK, you can relax now.”  Mark casually walked over towards Matt and said, “Thanks.  How is the training going?”  Matt replied, “Good.  We got through a lot this morning.”  Matt let Mark get in line for food in front of him.  They got their food then they all sat down at a round conference table.  The new hires, or should I say, new slaves, were a bit shy at first.  Matt and Mark engaged them in the conversation asking them about past experiences, hobbies, and other casual topics.  They seemed more comfortable by the end of the meal.

After they finished eating, Mark said to Matt, “I’ll get this cleaned up and get it out of here.”  Matt replied, “Thanks.  I’ll see you later.”  Then, turning to the rest of the group, Matt said, “Notice that conversation was a lot less formal.  When guests and sometimes when Masters are around, you need to take on a formal slave attitude.  But at other times we can be more relaxed.  If you want to practice being formal that would be great, but it is more important that you feel comfortable asking questions.”

After lunch he continued talking about uniforms.  Just before lunch they were talking about collars.  There was one more thing to cover on the topic of uniforms, but first he wanted to see if anyone had questions about collars, outer uniforms, or anything else from that morning.

When Matt asked if there were any questions, Jeff raised his hand, then said, “With the uniforms are we allowed to wear personal jewelry, such as earrings, necklaces, watches, and such?” Matt replied “Some areas have different rules on personal jewelry.  You are strongly discouraged from wearing any kind of expensive jewelry.  For one thing The Resort is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of such items.  Expensive jewelry would not go well with the role of being a slave.  Jewelry that interferes with your uniform or performance of your duties is prohibited.  Prescription glasses are the only personal items that are always allowed once you are in uniform.  In most sections a wedding ring would be allowed.  Some sections allow rings, earrings, and some other types of jewelry.  If you have questions about specific items, you should talk to your Alpha when you are assigned to your group.  Are there any other questions?”

As Brad started to stand up at attention, he said, “Let me see if I can do this formally.  Alpha Matt, Sir.  Those collars seem really cool.  What other things can they do?”  Then after a brief pause, he added, “Sir!”  Matt smiled as he replied, “Very good attempt.  The way you stood at attention was good.  Your use of ‘Sir’ would be excellent if I was a Master, but I am an alpha.  You addressed me correctly as ‘Alpha Matt’.  As for the collar, there are a few more features.  You will get training on their use tomorrow.  Three taps signal an emergency.  If you do that, it will open the microphone so that the control center can hear what is happening.  They will immediately send someone to your location.  Although guests usually behave properly, occasionally a guest might drink too much and not behave properly.  If the emergency is a guest behaving inappropriately, they do not want to risk agitating the situation by talking to you through the collar.  So, they will listen, but will not talk to you unless you are speaking to them in a way that suggests they should respond.  If it is not an emergency, but you think that the control center should be aware of something, one tap followed by two taps will also open the microphone so that they can hear what is happening.  And there are a few more features, but you will learn about those soon enough.”

Matt then moved on to explain the next topic.  He told them there is one more part to the uniform.  Slaves are required to wear a chastity device.  The devices are top of the line high tech modular devices.  They go very well with the look of being a slave.  Part of the reason for the devices is for their own safety.  He told them we do not want you to become the victim of unwanted sexual advances from guests or other staff.  Likewise, we do not want staff engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct.  As a side benefit, many of the slaves find that it brings them to a pleasurable state of horniness.  It can be a bit distracting the first day or two, but after that most slaves find themselves in such a pleasurable state that it gives them extra energy to focus and complete their tasks with greater efficiency.  When they arrive, the uniform will go on.  When they are getting ready to leave, the uniform will come off.  However, for those who want it, The Resort does allow the chastity device to stay on when you leave.  Some find it easier to just leave the device on when they are working several days in a row, and only have it removed when they have days off from work.  Some only have it removed when they are taking vacation time or for special occasions.  But there are also many who have it removed every time they leave.  The choice to keep it on after work is totally up to them.

Matt then moved on to discuss shift options.  For those who have been here at least a month, The Resort offers flexible shifting hours.  Instead of coming here 5 days a week for an 8-hour shift, they can opt to either work four 10-hour shifts or 3 shifts where they work 13 hours the first and third day and 14 hours the middle day.  These options offer the benefit of cutting down on the transportation time and giving them 3 or 4 days off each week instead of 2.  With the four-day option, they have the choice to stay here or go home between shifts.  With the three-day option they would stay here between shifts.  The Resort offers a slave area with beds and recreational facilities for their off hours.  During their off hours, their outer uniform would be exchanged for a white uniform.  The collar and chastity device will remain in place.  They have a choice of three styles for the off-duty uniform.  One is a t-shirt and shorts, the other is a tank-top and shorts and the third option is a harness style.  The first two options are a soft material that is comfortable for sleeping.  The harness option is best for those who may want to make use of the pool and slave section of the beach as it is a waterproof material that dries easily.

The last topic for the day was the slave profile form.  During the hiring process they filled out the employee information form.  Internally, that is called the slave profile form.  They filled out the sections for the basic employee information:  name, address, date of birth, and so forth.  Most of the data they entered can only be updated by an alpha in the slave processing department.  But there is much more to the slave profile.  There are sections where they can indicate the type of shift that they want after they have been here a month.  Another section indicates if they want the chastity device removed after every shift or if it will stay on between shifts.  That option generally becomes available after they have been here two weeks.  There are extensive sections for those slaves who interact with guests where they can indicate what activities are consensual.  One of The Resorts greatest features is the slave vending machines where we match appropriate slaves to the interests of the guests.  While this section is not relevant to them now, some of them may decide to become slaves to the guests in the future.  Some may opt to become slaves to the guests as your full-time occupation here and some may opt for our trial program where they will be designated as a guest slave for a few hours a week.  They will not be eligible for the trial program until they have been here for at least two months, however, those sections of the forms will become available after a month so they can start thinking about it.  He reminded them that this is totally their option.  Initially they may find many items that they are unwilling to try, but over time that may change.  They can review and update their profile at any time, but they need to acknowledge that it is current on a monthly basis.  For their convenience, the profiles can be accessed from terminals and pads available in the staff section of the ferry on their way to or from the island and in most slave only areas on the island.

After finishing, he asked, “Any more questions for today, before we wrap things up?”  He looked around the room.  Miguel stood up and said, “Alpha Matt, you said all slaves are required to wear a chastity device.  Does that include alphas?  Do you wear a chastity device?”  Matt replied, “Yes, that includes alphas.  I am wearing a chastity device.”  Brad stood up and asked, “Alpha Matt, does it have any cool features like the collars have?”  Matt replied, “Yes, you will learn more about it tomorrow.”

Matt continued, “It’s a bit early but you’ve had a long day.  While I go check on your ID cards, you are welcome to use the terminals along the wall to check your slave profiles.  There are a few new sections available, such as the new hire packets.  You can still access them with the login information you created to apply for the jobs.  Don’t forget to review the code of conduct section.  If you need anything Mark should be right outside the door.”  With that, Matt left the room.

Matt returned about 20 minutes later.  They were all at terminals reviewing their profiles or reading through the new hire material.  “Stay logged into the terminals but listen up for a few moments.  I have your ID cards.  We will link them to your fingerprint so you can use them for ferry access, to get through some of the security access doors, to log into terminals and pads, and so forth.  The cards have your given name in larger letters.  Underneath your name is your 6-digit employee ID.  The last two digits in your ID, the ones in the bolder color are the identifier that goes with your name to distinguish you from others who may have the same name.  For example, my employee ID ends with 06, so I am ‘Matt 96.’  Your card is only needed when you are not in uniform.  The collars have a chip that will identify you for security access at doors and terminals.  I will come to each of you give you your card and help you activate it.”

He went to each of them, Jeff 24, Miguel 63, Peter 28, Dan 39, and Brad 42 in turn.  He showed them where to place the card to the chip reader then touch the fingerprint reader.  He then had them log out and showed them how to login with their card and fingerprint.

“You did well today.  This morning you were in the guest part of the ferry.  On your return trip you will be in the staff section.  Some call it the slave section, but when we are off the island, we prefer that you use the outside terms.  Tomorrow you will use your cards to access the staff area to board the ferry.  You will be issued uniforms tomorrow, so if you do have any jewelry or personal items with you, they will have to be kept in your storage locker.  Now line up by the door and I will bring you to the ferry waiting area.”

He led them out of the room and took them to the ferry waiting area for staff.  As he was about to leave, Jeff asked if he could talk to him for a minute.  They stepped aside and took a seat.  “What do you want to talk about?”  Jeff seemed a bit uncomfortable.  After a moment he said, “Do we have to wear the chastity device provided by The Resort?”  Matt replied, “It is a required part of the uniform.  Are you uncomfortable about being in a chastity device?”  A bit surprised by the question, Jeff quickly said, “No.”  With a confused look, Matt asked, “Then what is the problem?”  Jeff said, “My boyfriend already has me locked in a chastity device.  I’ve been locked by him since I was nineteen.  It has been almost 2 years now.  He will want me to stay locked under his control.  And I want that too.”  Matt replied, “That should not be a problem.  We have several options.  I’m sure we can arrange something that will work for you and your boyfriend.  Let’s go back to the training room to discuss them.”

They returned to the training room.  They sat down and Matt continued, “I mentioned earlier that our chastity devices are of a high tech, modular design.  We can set up a partner account for your boyfriend that will allow him control over the chastity device.  He can determine whether the device stays on or comes off when you finish your shift.  If it stays on, he can determine which modules will be used.  We have a few modules that normally are only used on slaves who serve the guests.  But with a partner account, those modules can be included in your chastity device.  We can provide him with an app that will allow him to use the modules or unlock the device when you are off the island.  The device, of course, must be put back on before you return to work.  But outside of work he would have complete control of it.  Normally we do not activate the option to stay in the chastity device until someone has been here two weeks, but for situations like yours, I can activate that feature right away.  Do you think you and he would like that?”

Jeff’s face lit up at the idea.  “Yes, I think he will like that.  Can I discuss it with him tonight?”  “You need to have your device unlocked before you come back tomorrow.  He can either unlock you before you come here, or if your boyfriend would like, he can come with you and unlock the device shortly before you are put into your uniform.  He would not be able to go with you after unlocking the device.  But while he is here, I can have someone help him load the app and learn about the features of the device.”  “That sounds wonderful.  I think he will like it.”  “Login to the terminal and I will activate the options for keeping the chastity device on and for setting up a partner account.  If your boyfriend likes the idea, then you will be all set for tomorrow.”  Matt turned on the features in Jeff’s slave profile and helped him with some of the initial settings.  Jeff had to indicate consent to allow the partner account to control certain advanced features.  Matt recommended that he start with just the basic features for now and helped him set that up.  The configuration was set to send him home with the basic components.  At Matt’s recommendation Jeff did not issue consent for most of the advanced features so that he and his boyfriend could discuss them before activating them.

Matt warned Jeff that once he authorized the partner account to take control of the chastity device, he would have limited access to change it.  He would be able to change the consent option for certain advanced features.  He would not be able to control any of the basic features unless the partner account allowed it.  The partner account could relinquish control at any time.  If he changed his mind about allowing the partner account to control his chastity device, there was a built in one-month cool down period.  If he withdrew consent for the partner account, the partner account would no longer have access to control the device, but the system would keep him locked while off duty for a period of one month.  That cool-down period would only be waived if the partner account consented to relinquish control.

When they finished, Matt gave Jeff a pass that would allow his boyfriend to come over on the ferry the next day.  Then he walked Jeff back to the ferry waiting area.  Jeff was concerned about what the others would think and asked Matt not to let them know about his chastity device.  Matt agreed.  The others had already left the Island.  The next ferry was just about to board.

  1. A great beginning! The story line is quite unique with a lot of possibilities – looking forward to next chapter.
