Cop Fantasy 1: My First Time Visiting a Police Station — and Trying on Leg Irons

By handcuffcop

I honestly don’t know where to start with this story.

I’ve been fascinated by police officers for as long as I can remember. Whenever I saw someone in a police uniform, I’d get this weird little rush. Part of me always wanted to walk up and touch the uniform, just to feel what it was actually like and imagine what it would be like to wear one myself.

I know a lot of people are fascinated by cops because of the guns, batons, authority, and all that. For me, though, it has always been the handcuffs.

There’s just something about being handcuffed by a police officer that I’ve always found incredibly exciting. Unfortunately, I never really had a chance to experience it.

Then I went to Massachusetts for school.

The campus police officers there were pretty attractive, and of course I was fascinated by their uniforms. The problem was that most of them seemed to carry only their sidearms, and you usually couldn’t even see handcuffs on their belts.

A lot of the campus officers were also, well… not exactly what I had imagined a police officer would look like. Some of them patrolled on bicycles wearing polo shirts or athletic shirts instead of a full uniform, and they didn’t always wear body armor either.

I actually tried to visit the campus police station once, but they wouldn’t let me take a tour.

Eventually, though, I got lucky.

I happened to be in Manchester-by-the-Sea and decided to try visiting the local police station. Somehow, that was the first time I actually managed to get inside and see the place.

There were no prisoners there, and since it was a Saturday, things were pretty quiet.

From the outside, the police station looked tiny. Once I got inside, though, I realized it was actually much bigger than it looked. There was even a basement with holding cells.

The officers were really friendly. They showed me the jail area, which had the classic metal-bar cells you’d expect to see in a police station.

There were three cells for male prisoners. One was being used to store paperwork, while the other two were locked, so there wasn’t really much to see.

Then I got to see the women’s cell.

That one had a solid door instead of bars. And honestly? The mattress looked surprisingly comfortable.

I also got to see the dispatch room, although I wasn’t particularly interested in the equipment. The dispatcher himself, however, was extremely handsome. I couldn’t help thinking that he would have looked even better in a full police uniform.

After that, I drove over to the Hamilton police station.

I’d tried visiting several other police stations before that, but none of them would let me tour the facilities. This time, though, I happened to meet an officer who was just about to finish his shift, and he was nice enough to let me come inside.

He showed me around and explained what the different rooms were used for. I got to see the dispatch area, an interrogation room, and several other parts of the station.

The interrogation room was pretty interesting. Apparently, when the lights were turned on, the recording system automatically started recording.

But obviously, the part I was most interested in was the jail.

There were three cells, with a control room directly across from them. The officers could press a button from the control room to unlock the cell doors.

And then, to my surprise, the officer actually let me step inside one of the cells.

The mattress was surprisingly thick and comfortable.

He joked that it wasn’t comfortable at all and told me, “Don’t commit any crimes.”

I also asked him some random questions.

For example, I wondered whether someone could intentionally get drunk enough to be placed in a holding cell without actually getting charged with a crime. He explained that the police would continue monitoring the person’s blood alcohol level and release them once it dropped below the required level.

And no, they obviously wouldn’t handcuff someone just for being drunk.

I remember thinking, Well, that’s disappointing.

Later, I started asking about the uniforms.

This was actually pretty interesting. What looked like a traditional uniform shirt was apparently just a specially designed polo shirt. From a distance, it looked like a regular police uniform, but underneath it was basically just T-shirt material.

The duty belt was also different from what I had imagined.

A lot of the equipment was incorporated into the body armor instead. There weren’t really any obvious handcuffs, baton, or other traditional equipment hanging from the belt.

To be honest, it didn’t quite feel like a “real” police uniform to me.

Then I noticed something nearby that immediately caught my attention.

There was a wooden bench with metal rings attached to it. Hanging from the rings were handcuffs and leg irons, with the other ends left free for restraining prisoners.

And I was like…

Whoa.

I suddenly got really excited.

I could actually feel my face getting warm.

I asked the officer if I could try on the leg irons.

In my head, I had imagined something completely different. I thought he might take the restraints off the bench, put the leg irons on me, maybe put the handcuffs on me as well, and let me walk around inside the cell for a little while.

Instead, he looked genuinely confused about why I wanted to try them.

He checked the leg irons first to make sure he could unlock them. He pulled a key out of his chest pocket and tried it.

Luckily, it worked.

He put one of the leg irons around my right ankle.

And then…

Almost immediately, he unlocked it again.

That was it.

I barely had any time to experience what it actually felt like.

The only thing I really noticed was that it was surprisingly uncomfortable. The metal ring was fairly tight around my ankle, and it started hurting a little after a few seconds.

I had originally hoped he would put them on both ankles and let me walk around for a bit.

Needless to say, I was a little disappointed.

I didn’t get to try the handcuffs either.

The officer was about to finish his shift, so eventually he escorted me back outside.

I definitely left feeling like, Well… that was short.

But honestly, I was still grateful to him.

It was my first time ever wearing leg irons.

I’d actually owned a pair of handcuffs before, so I already knew roughly what being handcuffed felt like. That’s why the leg irons were the thing I was really curious about.

Looking back, I think the officer simply had no idea what to make of me.

I probably wasn’t the first person he’d ever shown around the station, but I might have been the first person who specifically asked to try on the restraints.

I think this officer had probably just never dealt with someone who specifically asked to be handcuffed or put in leg irons before.

If he had been a gay cop, he probably would have gone along with my request right away.

I even found myself fantasizing about him searching me, noticing that I was aroused, handcuffing me behind my back, putting leg irons on me, and locking me in the cell, where he would make me perform oral sex on him. The cameras in the cell were supposedly monitored live rather than recorded, so in theory, he could have done something like that.

Obviously, none of that happened.

The reality was much more boring: I tried on one leg iron for a few seconds, he unlocked it, and then my tour was over.

There wasn’t another officer there yet because he was working the middle shift. His shift was ending, but the officer taking the next shift hadn’t arrived yet, so there was a gap between shifts.

But honestly, he was a very straight-laced and principled cop. I was a little disappointed, but at the same time, I respected him for it.

Looking back, I’m actually glad the officer I ran into was an honest, principled guy. If something serious had really happened, I feel like he would have handled it properly instead of trying to use sexual favors as a condition for letting me go or not arresting me.

And honestly, that’s probably for the best.

The officer was actually very professional and principled. Even though I was a little disappointed that he didn’t indulge my fantasy, I respected him for it.

If something serious had actually happened, I’d much rather have a police officer who followed the rules and did his job properly than someone who would abuse his authority for personal or sexual reasons.

So, in the end, I didn’t get the police fantasy experience I had imagined.

But I did get my first tour of an actual police station, I got to see the cells, I got to sit inside one, and—most importantly—I finally got to wear a real pair of police leg irons.

For me, that’s still a pretty memorable experience.
