How do you guys feel about cable ties that cops use for mass arrests of protesters?
RH of the Mencomix weighed in:
“My personal view on cable ties for bondage: highly effective but rather unsexy,” RH said in an email. OK when you have clothes, gloves or boots on, damn hurting when used on naked skin. So, nice pic of the policemen, but I still prefer them with good ol’ metal handcuffs!”
What do you guys think? Like em or hate em? (For me, it all depends on the cop and how hot he is.) Here are some more pictures of cable ties:
Nope, doesn’t do anything for me at all. Take wire cutters to the next riot where police are using them and release everyone.
One of the best times to use them is when you take your boi into the shower. Then there’s no chance of rust later on.
Other than that, they are pretty hot to look at sometimes.
Dig the heaver leverage ones on the pic of the big dude.
The mass-arrest ones used to fuck over basic civil disobedience, not so much.
Practically plasticuffs are generally only used in mass public order situations where you can’t carry too many pairs of metal, and there’s all the hassle of getting your cuffs back etc. They are also cheap and disposable, and impervious to body fluids. During play, they are great for quick scenes where carrying metal through customs wouldn’t be an option – but for me, it must always be metal, and they must always lock… the snap of the ratchet shutting, or chains/padlock grating – the only way – simple.
Get some REAL, metal cuffs, you cheap cops!
I prefer metal, leather and rope. Disposable cuffs dig into the flesh. I’ve had an encounter with plastic cuffs and didn’t like them.
