Mark from Serious Male Bondage has shared the news that The Edge Dungeon has been torn down and the property sold, and he shared the pictures above and directly below. According to Mark, the end of the dungeon was primarily due to damage to the surrounding buildings and utilities infrastructure by a forest fire, and the high reconstruction costs associated with the post pandemic supply chains.

Over the years the Edge was a popular destination among those in the kink community with an interest in incarceration play. It was also site of quite a few on-location shoots for Serious Male Bondage.

“The dungeon project was a labor of love facilitated by the property owner as well as a number of kinky people,” writes Mark from Serious Male Bondage. “The space was available, key construction people had the time, and major components like the rolling jail doors were were obtainable. We hope this dungeon will have inspired other kinksters to build their own version. In the Edge Dungeon’s case, it took a village!”
The following text was sent to the property owner:
“Dear Sir, now that the Edge Dungeon is past and our emotions have settled down, I would like to thank you for the wonderful experiences we all had there.
“You facilitated an unusual project, and I’m grateful that we all had a chance to participate in its construction and use.
“It’s a rare occurrence that all the people, parts and location to build the dungeon could come together. I’m sure it has inspired others around the world to take on similar projects.
“Our hats off to you for fulfilling some of our dungeon fantasies!”
