OMG – me too! Loved when they slapped the cuffs on the bad guys! Rifleman was a close second…
I kinda liked the other guy…. and there was one episode where his nephew was getting into trouble, and destined to become a real criminal, so when he catches him doing some petty crime, Slaps The Cuffs on him. WHen later the nephew asks ” you knew it was a minor crime, why did you handcuff me?” and our Officer responds – “How’d they feel, Russ?” to which Russ replies “Like the End Of The World”. I, of course, would have said “Fucking amazing, Uncle, would you Cuff me again now PLEASE?!”
I loved this show. When I started watching it I really wanted to be a cop. But then I realised it was the guys getting cuffed and hauled off to jail who had most fun.
