I have read all of the stories on the Metalbond website, but none stirred anything as deeply in me as the story “Roger” by David Sellers. I have read it over and over and have spent a lot of time thinking about it. I mentioned it casually to my partner of seven years a few more times than I realized. When I bid on the slaughterhouse in sheriff’s sale I was ecstatic when I was informed the transaction went through. Having a background in engineering and architecture pays off when you have a devious mind such as mine. The first thing I did upon entering the building was to see what was left, what was salvageable, and what was to be removed. Hi Metal, Just to let you know that I will actually be enduring the new version of the ‘Torture Trap’ in the next few months.
