Update: CLAW locks in dates at the Hyatt Regency Columbus for 2027 and 2028

CLAW is a longtime event that had been held in Cleveland, Ohio, but this year it moved to Columbus, Ohio. Now, event organizers have announced that they will stay at the Hyatt Regency Columbus, with these dates:

  • CLAW 2027: July 29 – August 1, 2027
  • CLAW 2028: April 13 – 16, 2028

I attended for the first time this year, at the new home in Columbus, and I came away seriously impressed. The event delivered strong energy, solid programming, and that unmistakable sense of community that makes these weekends worth every mile of travel. Whether you’re brand new to the scene or a seasoned veteran, CLAW has something powerful for you. I had a great time and will definitely be back.

Massive Steve Ng Boot Sale Coming to LA on May 2

Steven Ng was a true leather man from San Francisco who lived and breathed high-end boots for decades. He built an epic collection of 900 pairs and gifted dozens of men their all-time favorite pairs along the way. After his passing in 2025, his estate turned the entire remaining collection — boots plus racks of leather and uniform gear — over to CLAW. More than 300 bootmen have already scored from it, raising $43,000 for CLAW, Tom of Finland Foundation, Leather Archives & Museum, and CARAS Research.
