Mason Powell The Brig book

‘The Brig’ novel by Mason Powell

Imagine being locked up for months in a military brig by sadistic Marines who take great pleasure in torturing you and using you sexually! That’s what happens in the classic male BDSM novel “The Brig,” by Mason Powell.

The Brig by Mason Powell

You can get The Brig on Amazon as an eBook or as a paperback. It’s highly recommended!

Note that “The Brig” was previously published in book form by The Outbond Press, and prior to that it was serialized in Drummer magazine!

Also of note is Mason Powell’s non-kink compilation of short stories, Telling Lies About the Wolves, which is also quite worthwhile, in my opinion!

  1. I really dont think there is another book to compare to The Brig. I bought it many years ago as a paperback and i still remember the excitement of reading the man’s conversion from being a conventional hetero man to a submissive gay who has been conditioned to only respond to abuse. It appealed to something deep within my psyche and I ached to experience a similar experience of being controlled, dehumanised, reprogrammed. Unfortunately (fortunately) it never happened. My copy got packed into a box somewhere and it was only when I got it for my Kindle that i rediscovered the book. I warn you though it is seriously addictive and its one of the few books where I start reading it and have to continue to the end even if we are talking 8+ hours of reading. Reading it now with my cock tightly locked away in chastity makes it so much more enjoyable – the old me would have read a bit, had a wank and put it down. The caged me relishes the feeling of my cock pressed against its tiny tight cage and carries on reading to make the experience more intense. Goes without saying that any precum that leaked out was consumed – waste not want not. If you havent read The Brig – what are you waiting for, if you have then surely its time for a return visit.

  2. I can’t agree more to wakeysub’s comment. The Brig is a seminal BDSM novel and it stands alone in its creepy mix of authenticity and fictional elements. Interestingly, Team Delta, the ex-special forces guys who put on SERE weekends (totally authentic but minus any sex — it was homo erotic enough, though), tried to do a red line bring at The Mountain complex owned by Bob and the legendary Harold (RIP). I was the last to arrive on Friday evening, at 5 or so, and 6 of the 8 guys had already dropped out!

  3. I think Marines should have more law rights than the average citizen. They should be treated like an upper class citizen. In other words: a Marine should be allowed to punish in the way he sees fit a common citizen if he is disrespected. For instance: he should be allowed to punish someone for not being called “Sir” (even if not on duty, even if he’s just having fun at a gay bar for instance).
