In an interview with MetalbondNYC.com, Kristofer Weston, director for COLTstudiogroup.com and BoundJocks.com, talks about the recent site re-launch for Bound Jocks — and what it’s like to get his hands (and ropes!) on all those hot porn stars. He also talks about the earlier part of his bondage porn career (when he was known as Steve Landess), the kink interests of younger guys these days — and his recent interest in puppy play.
Read on, below the picture …
Metalbond: The new Bound Jocks site looks better than ever. What’s new and different now?
Kristofer Weston responds: Yeah, I’m quite excited about this new version of BoundJocks.com. For the first time you can download the scenes to own and stash them on the cloud, so you can view your favorite scenes any time you want. Also, as more and more people use their phones and other mobile devices, this NEW site is usable on any platform or mobile device. The search ability, especially by fetish, has also been updated and is much easier to use.
So, what you are saying is that now is a better time than any to subscribe to Bound Jocks?
Pretty much, and you don’t even have to buy a full time membership like you used to in the past. Now you can just download or stream only the scenes you want to watch. Just like buying movies in the past.
One thing that sets Bound Jocks apart from some of the other bondage-themed sites, is that your shoots are done in brightly lit, clean rooms. You use colorful ropes and some really cool jock gear. It all seems a bit more fun. You planned it all this way, right?
Well, we planned to have more athletic guys experimenting with bondage in a non-threatening atmosphere — that is true. The site kind of evolved as we started using more colorful gear and then added the colored rope to it. The color against the white backdrop makes it pop and look more flavorful. I like to call it “bondage candy” for the eyes.
It always looks like you and the models in these shoots are really having fun with all this stuff.
Of course! At the beginning I think the models were more nervous about it, as they didn’t know what the end product was going to look like. But now, after five years, I think BoundJocks has really become an identifiable brand that the models want to be part of. More and more hot young guys keep asking to be part of it. You really get a feel for that if you watch the interviews we do with them at the end of the scene. A lot of them were just curious and then discovered they really like it once we tied them up. Like in real life, it all comes down to trust. I think the models know they can trust us — and they end up having a lot of fun.
What have been some of your favorite shoots at Bound Jocks to date? Any particularly memorable scenes or models you have worked with so far?
Oh gheeze — there have been so many. I guess my favorite is when the jocks have their hands bound behind them and cinched to their balls, like Tate Ryder does in his solo. It personally turns me on to see them tug on their own raging hard-ons without being able to touch themselves. Also Dirk Caber and Dolan Wolf are major favorites of mine, just because they are such kinky fucks who will do anything and enjoy the hell out of it!
Any hints on upcoming shoots?
I think this year we will take it up a notch and start to get a little raunchier with the jocks. Also, now that I have a pup — Tyler Rush — who has taught me the joys of puppy play, we will probably do more of that as well. Both the audience and pup community really seem to enjoy it when we do.
Before you were behind the camera, you were in front of the camera, appearing as Steve Landess in videos for Zeus and Grapik Arts. Those must be great memories, yes?
Yes, I look back at some of those images and think, ‘Wow, I started young.’ But it’s great to have all of those great play sessions preserved on tape forever. I think it gives me a unique sense of what it’s like to be in front of the camera and what the model is going through in his head as he performs.
Do you think bondage is more mainstream today? Is that a good thing?
Yes, and I think that is an awesome thing! There was a time when saying you were into S/M was like a second coming out for gay men who had already struggled with coming out in their 20s. These days, guys come out much younger and jump into fetish to try it out right away. The stigma is less, and also kink has expanded from master/slave to latex, sports gear, puppy play, furries and everything in between. I’m all for guys exploring their kinks, no matter what they might be.
What is something that people might be surprised to know about you?
People might be surprised to know that I actually live an hour North of San Francisco on a small farm with chickens. I think people just assume I’m in the city with a massive dungeon tying up boys all day long. That being said, I do tie up boys in the barn from time to time. Maybe that needs to be the next site …
Anything you would like to add?
Just a huge thank you to you, and all your followers who have supported us all of these years. The feedback we get is amazing. It always surprises me when someone comes up to me at an event and tells me how much they admire the site. It’s a really nice thing to hear.

In an interview with MetalbondNYC.com, Christopher Miers from Steelwerks Extreme discusses how he got started making extreme chastity devices, his background as a jeweller and metalsmith, and what he likes about the “mind-fuck” of lockable metallic cockwear. He describes in detail some of his proudest achievements in male chastity, and he talks about how he sees his creations as functional works of art — pieces that can be admired in a display case — or on a cock.
“I’m really trying to push the artistic side as much as possible, so that people are truly getting their own individual piece of art,” Christopher says.
Read on to learn more about this artisan.
Metalbond: How did you get started in this line of work? How did you learn your craft?
Christopher responds: From a very young age I always knew I wanted to create with my hands, and the idea of adorning people was always an appealing career path. So I started looking into becoming a jeweller. In the early ’90s I took an apprenticeship under a local goldsmith, which gave me the basic skills I needed to plan for my future.
At that time, piercing was the newest thing on the block. Everywhere you looked people were getting into piercing, from nipples to genitals, and I just knew I had to be a part of it all. Back in 1995 I opened SteelWerks as a piercing jewelry company to supply all the Canadian piercing shops with their jewelry needs. From the very beginning of the company, I always focused on the custom side of jewelry — trying to offer clients things they could not find elsewhere, or simply to offer them something they could call their own.
Sometime around the millennium, a regular client who had come to me for a variety of extreme but rather traditional piercing jewelry items and prince’s wands (an extension of the more hardcore piercing jewelry world), asked me to make him a chastity device. Male chastity?! Although familiar with the fetish world since I was a young man and already exploring many of my own kinks, I had yet to hear of a male chastity device, and I was immediately intrigued. “Tell me more,” I believe my first words were. Looking back, that first cage I made was practically unwearable. It was big, bulky, heavy and pointing entirely in the wrong direction. But thankfully, that same client stuck with me this whole time and now has some of the nicest cages I have ever made. Love that guy!
What is it about chastity that you like the most?
For me it’s control and everything that comes with it. This, of course, is the very basis of chastity. Truly, for me, it’s the idea of encasing the cock, but not just confinement. After all, you could do that with a bunch of plastic wrap and duct tape. For me, it’s all about creating elegance — ‘refined torture,’ if you will. If you’re going to cover it up, it better be damn hot to look at when that key gets handed over to Mr. or Mrs. Important!
The way I see it, the world of chastity varies from one client to the next. While one client may intend on being in his cage 24/7/365, the next might only want it for weekend fun but is looking for something far more extreme than the everyday guy. This is the best part of the job — finding that perfect match for everybody, while learning through their stories and adventures, teaching me more about what I already know and I love learning more about as I further both my kinks and career in this industry.
What metals do you work in? Which ones are best for chastity?
I have worked with many different metals throughout my career as a metalsmith, but medical-grade stainless steel and titanium are the metals of choice for chastity. While starting the company in the piercing industry, I quickly learned about ASTM-certified metals, always making sure our materials come with the proper certificates and are of the quality I expect, even in their raw form.
Because all of our products are machined, then finished by a precision hand polishing, we are able to achieve the immaculate finish that I expect on each and every piece that leaves the shop.
Do you have any custom pieces of which you are particularly proud?
While so many pieces come to mind, a number of them have really taken my creativity to a whole other level. The first, hands down, would be the device I made for Clive Barker and his partner, Johnny, who are dear friends of mine. We see each other once a year for a little powwow, always dreaming up new definitions of erotic art and how we see it in the world. After many years of bonding over the history of erotic art, they finally commissioned me to make them something very special. It’s called Creature #2000969, rightfully named as to always remind them of a date that is truly one to remember. When I design my creature cages, I like to take inspiration from the client himself and make something that speaks to him as a unique person. Clive, being the master of horror, truly deserved a cage that looked sinister, much like the characters he creates in his amazing stories, and the result was exactly as I had in mind — and once installed, it sure does look hot on Johnny’s cock! The cage itself was built as a functional piece of art, completely fabricated in titanium, so it’s incredibly lightweight, at just over 130 grams. It comes with a stand and display case, so when not being worn it can be displayed among all the art within their house.
Another of my favorites is another creature cage, the Necromancer, truly one of my most complex and intricately made devices. The Necormancer was built with the idea of absolute versatility, to be constantly changing form as the user changes his kink direction. The spine was the most time-consuming part of the device. It features individually handcrafted skulls, carefully hinged together, allowing it to be worn when the cock is erect or flaccid, articulating to the movement and arousal of the client’s wishes. This piece has many configurations. It has an optional scrotal containment cage and a massive, 3-pound, organically machined butt plug that connects to the back of the cage, further increasing stimulation for the wearer, especially when hooked up to electricity!
My most recent Creature cage, the BioBeast, is by far the most one-of-a-kind idea I have accomplished to date. While the functional side of the cage was not my idea, the design was, and as with all pieces I enjoy the most, this client gave me carte blanche in the designing process. This cage had to be as light as possible, as there is no cock ring to support the device. In this case, the client had trans-dermal implants installed in his pelvis so that the cage would be bolted directly to his body, making him the first-ever (to our knowledge) client to truly make chastity an extension of his body. The cage itself is constructed of implant-grade titanium, designed like a high-end racing bike. We removed material wherever we could in order to reduce weight as much as possible. The result is truly organic. It’s an alien-like cock coffin that he proudly displays at every chance he gets.
I can see why you describe your creations as “functional art.” Can you imagine any of these works being displayed someday in art galleries or museums?
The more clients I have like Clive Barker, the more I will fabricate pieces that can be proudly displayed as functional art in homes and even galleries. Wearable art — I mean, really, could it get any hotter? It’s just a matter of finding those guys who would actually have the balls to confidently display it both in a display setting as well as on themselves!
Truth be told, if I could find a gallery that was willing to take on what I have in mind for a cock art show, the wheels would already be in motion!
Sounds like someone should come to you for custom work, when they are ready to take their chastity experience to the “next level.” Is that what you enjoy most? The original pieces that involve a lot of planning and customization?
Bring it on! Bring me an original idea, something new, something inspiring, something I have never made before. As much I love my job and enjoy making pretty much every piece that leaves the shop, the true originals are what keep me going. I want you to be able to say you are the only guy at the party wearing an original piece of Steelwerks cock art. Like any other type of artist, I aspire to create one-of-a-kind pieces for all to admire.
What are some of the things a person should keep in mind when looking for a chastity device? They can be hard to fit, yes?
Make sure you know what you’re getting into. Experiment for a while. Try cheap, off-the-shelf pieces first, to get an idea of what you are looking for in a device and what type of configuration fits your anatomy and lifestyle best. Once you’ve figured this out, then it’s time to decide whether you are looking for a piece that is merely functional, or if you want both a sexy device as well as a long-term functional device. Once decided, knock on our door and have us create something a little more personal for you.
Based on your previous experience, our sizing guidelines and extensive knowledge of most devices on the market, we’ll be able to guide you in the right direction, as to what would work best with your specific lifestyle, chastity needs and how a cage should be fitting you.
One thing I do inform all my clients, though, is that chastity is not a perfect science, and what works for one guy might not work for the next. While I can do my best to help a client make the best decision, it is important that the client also does some legwork himself, to make sure we are making the cage as close to the size needed as possible. We do of course offer modifications, but to avoid any hassles we generally try and get it perfect right off the bat.
If budget permits or if you happen to live within reach of Montreal, we encourage clients to come visit us for a personal sizing, or try and lock me down when I travel to various parties, such as Folsom.
Have you ever turned a customer away whom you considered to be “not ready” for a Steelwerks?
Yes, many in fact. Getting into chastity, at least in my eyes, is not to be taken lightly. It’s a mindfuck that many men, young or old, aren’t ready for yet. I believe it should be taken one step at a time. On occasion I get a phone call from a guy looking to be introduced to this world, be it on his own or by the persuasion of a would-be keyholder. Being that I am a pretty open guy, I generally like to give clients the best advice I can give, whether they buy from me or not.
My first suggestion is usually to tell them to go get a CB6000 and try it out for a few months to see how they like being caged. Devices like the CB6000 have their place in the market, and they are ideal for introducing people to the world of chastity. Additionally, why on earth would you drop possibly 2K on a chastity device, when you don’t even know if you like it yet?
So where do these guys end up? Well, it may take a year or two, but I would say that at least 75 percent of them end up calling me back once they have tried a couple of the beginner cages out there and have finally decided that they want to be in a custom cage made specifically for them. The doors are open to everybody who is friendly and open-minded, and I hope to always be able to provide a knowledge base and service to all enquiring minds in this underground and often hidden community.
So, your shop is open to the public?
Yes. Recently we upgraded the shop to a gorgeous loft in the Old Port of Montreal. It’s really an inspiring environment to be in. While our doors are open to the public, we operate strictly by appointment only, so that when we have a client in, he is given the individual attention he deserves when shopping for such a personal item.
I almost forgot to ask about your unique locking mechanism and key. Can you describe it?
The S key is our signature stamp, one that can be found on any of our locking devices. The simplicity of our security S screw means no bulky padlocks or barrel locks that inevitably get damaged over time when exposed to water. The S screw is simple yet effective and requires no maintenance.
What would say to a wearer of one of your devices who came crawling into your shop on hands and knees, begging to be unlocked?
Bring your keyholder in or put me in touch with your keyholder to get approval. Only then will you have that key you so desperately seek.
Any final thoughts?
My connection and interaction with each and every client is really important to me. While this can’t apply to everybody, the bond that is created with most clients during the design and fabrication process of bringing their bespoke idea to life, is a great part of what keeps the doors to Steelwerks open.

In an interview with MetalboondNYC.com, Pablo Greene, author of the popular gay erotic fiction book series “How to Kill a Superhero,” talks about his love of spandex and superheroes, and how these fetishes intersect with bondage. He talks about his many ongoing projects, and he gives us a sneak preview of Book 3, “Transformation Fetish,” which is due out this fall. Read on for details.
Metal: I think it is great how your various fetishes — singlets, rope, superheroes, cosplay and the like — can intersect. That is quite a combination, if you ask me! Have you always been wired this way?
Pablo Greene responds: I think most of my interests as a human being have always been a blend. Take music for example. I like hard experimental techno and indie rock, but I can also go deep into opera or Mexican folk songs. I cannot be satisfied with only one genre. And when it comes to kink, it’s the same. My two roots are leather and superhero fetish. Everything came from those two; I think my fetishes arrived full force around the time of puberty for me. But as I grew older, my love of materials like spandex really expanded into what they are today. I still love leather, but honestly, nowadays, I’d rather suit up in spandex or some type of rubber, which I consider related.
But I also love bondage and restraint. Rope bondage and other kinds of restraint came out of my original interest in leathermen and leather imagery. But let’s not forget rubber and sports gear! Those count, too. I love the cross section of these, and to me, superhero fetish in the 21st century has elements of almost all the fetishes I mentioned above. I mean, have you watched any of those Dark Knight or Avengers movies lately? It’s like a fetish festival.
I understand that you are currently looking for models to get tied up in singlets. Are you still looking for guys? Can you tell Metalbond readers what that is all about?
Yes, I am working on a superhero/rope bondage project with Bastard Ropes, and we are looking for a model and rope bottom who would be willing to get into the ol’ cape and tights and display their muscled physique for us on camera. For those of your readers who might be interested, they can see the full casting call blog post over at our official site. Superheroes and bondage go together like peanut butter and jelly, so we want our model in this project to go deep into that mode with us. Very excited. The shoot will be in the spring, and we should have some more announcements later on once we edit the video. Bastard Ropes is one of the best rope makers in the U.S.
So, you are selling wrestling singlets now? How did that project come to be? Who designed that gear?
Ha ha, we are selling singlets, and that’s only the beginning! After we released “A Gay Bondage Manual” and “World Without Daylight,” I received a lot of reader questions about where to get good spandex or superhero gear, as well questions on how to get resources for bondage and kink. As a result I wrote an extensive guide devoted to vendors that sell superhero stuff, but I always wanted our site to feature spandex gear directly inspired by the superheroes and villains in my book series. As a response, we launched nine new wrestling singlet designs in our store. Each one is named after a place or character from the books.
I designed these new singlets to please guys who want something tight and fetishistic, with or without logos. We offer various styles, including a pup singlet for all the pup-play guys. Incidentally, our singlets are approved for powerlifting competitions, so you can double up on your use after you finish your bondage scenes and need to compete at a meet. Singlets are great gear for bondage scenes, and the styles we offer cannot be found anywhere else.
But singlets are just the beginning. In the coming months, we have lots more gear arriving into the store, including bondage gear that I myself would recommend to other kinksters and that I use myself. There will also be more superhero-specific gear, so if you’re a lover of spandex tights, trunks and bodysuits with trap doors, stay tuned. You can find all our gear (and autographed books) at our online store. On our site you can also find many posts where we recommend other great websites and stores to get other gear.
Many of the readers of Metalbond will be familiar with you from your book series — “How to Kill A Superhero” — the first two books of which have already been published. When is the next book coming out, and can you give us a sneak preview on what will happen next?
2015 is a pivotal year for the series! Book 3 arrives this fall, and I am happy to reveal its new title: “How to Kill a Superhero: Transformation Fetish.” This book is even filthier than the previous two. Roland and his lover Stephan have arrived in New York City for Hide, the world’s largest fetish event, but the mood is hardly festive. Sinkholes are swallowing city blocks whole, and red dust covers the sky. In this book Roland will have to face The Crimson Hand head on, and he will discover that the seemingly evil powers of the Golden Man book have actually infiltrated the leather and kink community. Readers can expect new kinds of bondage and play in this book, such as long-term encasement, cement bondage and the craziest rope suspension scene in history.
Book 4 arrives in 2016, and it will also be big. The events of the series are leading up to a massive battle, one that will play out physically against villains like the Crimson Hand, but also inside Roland’s mind. And yes, we will also learn the truth about Salvatore Argento, the man who wrote the book The Golden Man.
Which of the characters in “How to Kill A Superhero” do you identify most with?
It has to be Roland. No one makes my emotions rise like Roland. He is flawed, but he is also a person who has changed so much, and in my opinion, he seems to change for the better as time goes on in the novels. I like the questions he asks of himself and of other people. I also appreciate how he never backs away from his fetish — he lets it take him to new places. Freedom, both inner and outer freedom, are his key values, and I never, ever stop thinking about Roland.
I also am very attuned to the figure of David Dallion, Roland’s reluctant mentor. I think we would all like a teacher like David.
Do you have any other books in the works?
Yes! This year I am also kicking off “Villain Hearts,” a new series of spinoff novels focused on new villains in the “How to Kill a Superhero” universe. These books will feature less bondage and will focus more on love stories, and the series will eventually sync up with the “How to Kill a Superhero” series as villains face off against Roland.
We will be revealing an all-new set of book covers for these gay romance books, and I think they will be a hit with many of my younger readers who might be a bit more vanilla but still engage with the superhero element of the universe I created.
“Villain Hearts” kicks off this year, and two more books will follow.
Do you have any advice for guys who might want to start writing their own erotic books?
I think my advice would be the same for erotic writers than as for any writer. Write a lot (as often as you can), show your work to people, expose yourself, and then write some more. Then repeat. Write, show, expose. And when you do this very often, you will also find your path to publishing. What I mean is that if you write this much, and you practice your craft, eventually you will be ready to seek a publisher or to publish yourself.
When it comes to erotica in particular, I would just say to aspiring writers that it helps to get out of your own head. What’s hot and erotic for you may not be for other people. You have to find the right balance of description and level of detail so that you are connecting with your readers. This is where publishing or showing your work to people really helps. You can learn what resonates, and what doesn’t. For example, I learned that many readers love the wetsuit bondage scenes in “World Without Daylight.” They really love it. Well, I had no idea that would happen. I will keep it in mind for future books, but through and through, I will try to make sure that the wetsuit fetish and scenes can connect with the reader, not just with the three or four readers who couldn’t stop cumming during those passages. I love those guys, by the way!
Also, I think every person who aspires to be a writer should be a voracious reader. Of everything, from milk cartons, to encyclopedias, to web entries, to novels and memoirs. Everything.
Do you have any personal appearances planned in the coming weeks and months?
My travel schedule for 2015 is a little more limited than it was in 2014, mostly because I am working on two books instead of one, and I need to be at home to write them. However, going to fetish and literary events makes me so happy, and I get to meet with (and sometime even play) with other kinksters.
I will appear at Urban Bear Fair in NYC in May, and during Memorial Day I am going to be appearing at International Mr. Leather. I will be hosting my own superhero fetish event in New York City in the fall to coincide with the release of “How to Kill a Superhero: Transformation Fetish.” That event will be a hot spandex party with lots of bondage demos. That’s a lot right there!
What is something people might be surprised to know about you?
I have a master’s degree in computer science — in human-computer interaction, to be specific. I also speak conversational Japanese, and, though I’m rusty, I learned book binding as an undergrad, so I can build a whole book — including paper folios, sewing, binding in leather — by hand.
Anything you would like to add?
I want to thank all the kinksters who keep returning to the book series and tell me it reflected their inner desires. Superhero fetish is real, and the hunger for it is real. There is no book series quite like mine, and I am excited that my readers want to come along on the ride. Many people on the Internet may only know me as that muscle bear who wears superhero costumes in New York City, but the fact is that most of the questions I get are about the book series and its hero, Roland.
I encourage everyone to indulge their superhero fetish, regardless of gender and body. The power is inside.
Never heard of superhero fetish? Then it’s time you met author Pablo Greene, who is leading the genre with his four-book series “How to Kill a Superhero.” The books tell the story of Roland, who must learn to harness the powers of The Golden Man, whose secrets are found in an occult book by the same name. The series of superheroes in bondage has been dazzling fans of gay men’s erotica, as well as readers of fantasy and sci-fi.
“How to Kill a Superhero” has been featured at International Mister Leather, Southeast Black and Blue, the Leather Archives & Museum, Dart’s Domain, No Safeword and Ropecast.
The first two books are available now, and the third releases in the fall of 2015. This spring, Greene will also publish a new spinoff novella set in the universe of the series. For more information, visit howtokillasuperhero.net. You can purchase the books on Amazon, or at the How to Kill a Superhero online store. You can also find him on Tumblr and Instagram, and you can sign up for his email newsletter.

When it comes to bondage porn stars, I’ve been a huge admirer of Jared for many years. Regular readers of Metalbond will recognize this hot young man from Dream Boy Bondage and Roped Studs, where he has appeared in dozens of scenes as both top and bottom. I have especially enjoyed watching Jared dominate other guys, because just about anything he dishes out he has gone through himself as bottom.
Jared recently granted me an interview, which is below.
Metalbond: Hi Jared! How did you get started in gay bondage porn?
Jared responds: I have been with Master Ken for five years now, since I was still in college. At first I didn’t want to be in bondage videos online, but I got quite turned on thinking about it and, living with Master Ken, I was used to being in chains while naked pretty much all the time (laughs). Master Ken was always after me to do it, and I finally said yes, I think in like 2009. They roped me up real good in a variety of positions. It was very exhausting and painful, but I loved the challenge. I knew I could take it, and I wanted to make my Master proud.
What have been some of your favorite scenes so far?
As a bottom, I loved doing the shoot “Torture Me,” because I love pleasing my Master and he really wanted me to suffer, so I kept asking for more, begging for more pain. It was much more than a shoot; it was my way to submit to a man I must serve and please. I spewed cum all over my abs, even though I knew the second the cum left my dick, my Master would shock my balls — and he did. Oh, god, it hurt, but I knew it was my duty to please him by suffering so intensely. Fuck, and that last crucifixion scene I had to do. Master Ken had me up there for fucking hours. When you see me pass out, that is real. I couldn’t use my arms for like three days after that. I don’t think I’ve ever been in more pain. It looks so simple, just hanging there by your arms, but it is pure hell and it never stops.
As far as topping, I think my favorite shoot was with Braden because I forced him to suck my cock in so many different ways while I was hurting him, and I love that. He’s totally straight and had never done gay sex before, let alone bondage, but I totally turned him into my pain bitch (laughs). My other favorite more recent scene — it’s still on DreamBoyBondage — was with Seth, because I got to go crazy and really torture him. There was something about that kid that just made me want to hurt him.
Which of your fellow participants have you enjoyed working with the most?
Like I said, it’s a toss-up between Braden and Seth: Braden, cuz I totally turned that straight boy into my bitch. He had never sucked a cock before, but under my whip, he learned how to do it like a pro, even though he claims he hated it and gagged like a pussy. Seth, I just wanted to hurt. He thought he was so fucking hot and such a tough guy, when really he was just a pretty boy who needed to be taken down a couple notches. There is something about that combination of a guy being boyish and pretty and also being a cocky asshole that makes me want to really hurt him.
Have any behind-the-scenes blunders or bloopers ever occurred?
Not really. Our stuff is “what you see is what you get.” We really are torturing these guys. I mean, sometimes something weird will happen and we have to stop, but that’s pretty unusual.
Have you ever been recognized in real life, like at the mall or gym? If so, what was your reaction?
Oh, yeah, all the time. Guys come up to me at stores and shit. It used to freak me out, but now I just smile and, when they ask for pictures or whatever, I tell them they would have to ask my Master. I’m not really supposed to talk to people in public too much without my Master present.
Do you engage in BDSM activities off-camera, in your personal sex life?
Yes, Master Ken likes to keep me naked in chains a lot. He thinks I’m cocky. Plus he just likes it. And, yeah, I’m pretty cocky, so he beats my ass pretty much every other day.
That scorpion tattoo is totally badass. What inspired you to get it?
I’m a Scorpio, so, yeah, it’s my little bit of individuality. Master Ken doesn’t like it; he says it’s like drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa, whatever that means. But I’ve had it since college. And, yeah, it’s badass.
What hurts more? Getting a scorpion tattoo over the ribs? Or being whipped with a single tail?
Oh, definitely the single tail. Sometimes I have whip scars for weeks.
What’s something people might be surprised to know about you?
I’m a really good hockey player.
Is there anything you would like to add?
No, I’m not used to talking so much! But I look forward to beating the hell out of more boys as long as people like seeing me do it!
Thanks, Jared, for the interview!

In an interview with MetalbondNYC.com, Tom Wyoming, proprietor of the infamous Tom’s Prison in Second Life, discusses his interests in bondage, corporal punishment and rough fucking — as well as what it takes to make a good virtual role-play scene possible.
Hi Tom! Please introduce yourself to Metalbond readers, and tell us how to find you and what you are into.
You can find me in Second Life, where I have been for slightly over three years. I’m known in SL as a sadistic prison guard who gets turned on by welted backs and suffering prisoners.
For those who might not know, what exactly is Second Life, anyway? Is it a game?
Some consider Second Life to be a “game,” but in some ways it is more like a social media site, in that nearly all content is user-created.
Does it cost money to participate in Second Life?
You can participate in Second Life for just the cost of your Internet connection and computer hardware. There are enough “freebie” items in world to get started, but most players want to buy a nice looking skin and clothes for their avatar, get some really cool toys and get a virtual lot that they can build a permanent custom home on. Of course you can build your own toys and apparel, but there is a learning curve.
What are some of the things kinky guys can do in Second Life?
Anything that your perverted imagination can come up with! Cuff your prisoner and lock him up in a cell. Tie him to a whipping post for 50 lashes.
Oh really? You mean there are restraints, cages, bondage, whipping?
Yes, all sorts of fun toys, such as whipping frames, cages, cells and restraints can be purchased or built. As far as restraints go, “Open Collar” RLV cuffs are available for free, so at lot of people use that flavor.
RLV?
RLV stands for “Restrained Life Viewer” or “Restrained Love Viewer.” The major advantage is that the sub’s avatar can actually be restricted in many ways. When locked in an RLV cell running an RLV viewer, he won’t be able to “teleport” out or otherwise escape. The top can bind the bottom to an object without having to ask. The top does not need to use it, he just has to be familiar with the cuffs and collar that the bottom is wearing and what items in-world that are RLV-compatible.
I have heard that you, Tom, have quite a reputation in Second Life as a serious, heavy player. What else can you reveal about yourself?
To quote from my profile, “I’m seeking RLV-equipped male avatars who want to be bound whipped and used. I decide when you have had enough. Be warned that I’m very sadistic here in SL …”
What is Tom’s Prison?
One of the first things I looked for when I joined SL was prison simulators. As it turns out, nearly all where heterosexual. They were also all modern prisons where corporal punishment was not realistic. As a matter of fact, some of the het prisons specifically say it is to simulate a modern prison where the only punishment might be solitary confinement. So I set my prison back in the first century, where a good whipping might well occur. The sword and sandal movies of the 1950s were my inspiration.
What are some of the qualities you look for in seeking out other SecondLifers for virtual BDSM play?
I prefer muscular avatars, but not crazy overdone bodybuilders that are unrealistic. Good role-play ability is also nice, and I have to admit, I’ve met players I’ve learned a lot about roleplay from.
Is there anything you would like to add?
It would be nice to have enough people at the prison to keep a 24/7 simulation going, however with SL players spread all over the world and limited interest (the most popular gay sim is one that is totally focused on back-alley sex with little BDSM), I finally had to give up on that, so the prison now runs as a “playground,” where doms can take their subs to whip them, tie them down and fuck them, then throw them in a cell. I do have a couple of “lifers” who are really into total confinement and control, and our online schedules match well enough that we get to interact a lot.

In an interview with MetalbondNYC.com, Sebastian Keys from the Kink.com family of gay bondage websites talks about his adventures in gay BDSM porn.
Metal: Sebastian, as readers of the Metalbond site might remember, you were quite the novice when you were tied up at Mr S in San Francisco during a porn shoot with Brenn Wyson for the then-brand-new website Bound In Public. What was that like for you, diving into kink as a newbie in such a pubic way?
Sebastian Keys responds: Diving right into BDSM was such a thrill for me. I’ve always been kind of an adrenaline junky, and growing up Mormon I was very sheltered yet had so many curious perverted thoughts, so coming to Kink was like walking into a candy shop for the very first time.
So, in other words, when it comes to BDSM, you went from vanilla to sixty in like, five seconds! That was quite an initiation, yes?
It really was! It’s very well known in the industry that I’m one to really take it all.
Today you are one of the most prolific porn stars in the kink arena, and you also direct for Naked Kombat and Bound In Public, and you are one of the chief instigators at Men On Edge as well. Did you have any idea your career would take of so fast?
I did not! I remember five years ago when I first started being told that I would have a year in the industry, IF I WAS LUCKY. Well I figured, I may not be the most handsome or have the biggest dick in the industry, but I made it my duty to be as versatile and easy to work with as humanly possible. And through my endeavors my career escalated in a way no one could really expect. I’m very grateful.
Is there one thing you enjoy most about what you do for a living?
The one thing above all that I really enjoy in this line of work is the creative freedom I have. Film has always inspired me, and being the driving force behind a production, from just plotting the ideas and booking the models all the way up to editing in post and publishing it to the masses is such an amazing experience. All the hard work, the blood, sweat and tears that go into it, it’s something you can’t help but take pride and glory in.
What’s something people might be surprised to know about you?
People are always surprised at how young I am (24), and of course my Mormon religious background.
What would you say to someone who is young yet uninitiated, who might be interested in exploring BDSM?
The biggest thing I can say is educate yourself and find an outlet that is safe and trustworthy as you explore BDSM. Safety is always the biggest priority.
I just checked the daily feed on the Metalbond site, and it looks like I have tagged you in at least five dozen postings about gay bondage porn shoots you have been in (and counting). You have said that one of the most memorable was the Bound Gods live shoot “Please let me take his pain, Sir,” in which you were pushed harder than you had ever been. Why did that experience resonate so powerfully for you?
That shoot, to this day, still gives me chills thinking about. It was honestly the first time that I truly appreciated BDSM and quite frankly the first time I really was honest with myself and learned why I am the way I am.
In that scene you were known by your slave number, 316, which you later had incorporated into a tattoo on your back. Have many people who might not be familiar with its meaning asked you about that tattoo? Are you glad you have it?
I constantly get asked about it, whether people think it’s a scripture or an area code, they’re always blown away by my story behind it. I’m very happy I have it and wear it proudly.
You have said that Van Darkholme is your greatest mentor. What is it like working with him?
It has been such a life-changing experience working with Van. He has his intense moments, which he’s famously known for haha, but to be honest, once you get to know him, he’s such a pleasure to be around and always keeps me laughing in stitches. My biggest appreciation working with him has definitely been his genuine desire to see me succeed and be the best I can be. He’s always critical, but I keep a constant reminder that every critique comes from a place of love and that he wants me to be the best.
He gave you quite the “edging of your life” recently at Men On Edge, didn’t he?
He really did! And also recently I modeled for 30 Minutes of Torment, which was, alongside my “316” shoot, one of the most monumental moments of my life. I endured such intense torment and mind games that I walked out feeling like I truly conquered my fears and evolved as a human being.
Is there anything you would like to add?
Just a big thank you for thinking of me and for the walk down memory lane with my experiences here at Kink.com. I truly love this place!
Metal would like to thank Sebastian Keys for this interview.
