Preparing for the Night

Whereas before, with only the padded leather cap, I still had the opportunity to speak, even if everything was muffled by the harness, now there was no option to articulate a single word. Even though I hadn’t said anything the whole time, suddenly being deprived of the opportunity to say anything scared me again. There was that sinking feeling in my stomach again. My look probably said it all, Bob gently stroked my head to calm me down, but at the same time held me with an iron grip.

“Shh, calm down. The gag doesn’t have to stay in for long. I’ll take it out again overnight. I just want to protect you from yourself, because I don’t want to hear you talking back when we discuss your arrangements for the night. And you don’t want me to have to use the shock collar either, do you?
