I laughed the first time someone called them aquariums. I had always thought of them as display cases but, since the occupants were alive, I guess “aquarium” fit better. I wouldn’t have argued too much anyway, I never wanted to offend any of my clientele – especially in the VIP rooms.

Hi Metal, I thought I’d share this with ya, something you might enjoy. I’ve recently just came home from a vacation in Los Angeles and while there I got to experience some cage time. Not much, granted, but some.
The first was at the Rough Trade store, they have a cage at the bottom of the stairs on the ground floor, and I was able to sit into this. WOW!! What a rush!! Once the door was closed over (it wasn’t locked), and I could take in the whole environment, I found it a very thrilling and very arousing experience.

They had asked me to house sit for them at their new place so that they could take a trip over to Italy and maybe look for a Villa in the hill country. I had house sat for them before and they paid well, so i was happy to oblige.
I was on summer break and didn’t have to start my internship until almost the end of August, so I had plenty of time. John and Tim were partners and had lived together for almost 6 years. They really were a perfect couple – handsome, fit, and (for best for me) wealthy.

I can hardly wait for the courier to leave so I can open the package that he has just handed me. The formalities of receiving the parcel seem to go on forever but, finally I am alone. With trembling hands I tear the wrapping paper off the box and struggle to break the tape sealing it. It resists my efforts till I grab a knife from the kitchen and carefully cut it. As the box opens a strong smell of rubber assails my senses. I plunge my hands into the cool rubber’s soft caress and slowly lift it out of the box.
